About

Yasmeen Strang is a photographer living and working in Vancouver, Canada. After completing a degree in Fine Arts, Strang spent several years honing her craft working with renowned photographer, James O’Mara. She shot on assignment in Canada, the USA and Africa before turning her lens to fine art photography. Yasmeen’s work has garnered her recognition through various awards including Lens Culture and The Julia Margaret Cameron Awards. Her work has also appeared in publications including Dear Photographer Magazine, Click Magazine, PhotoEd Magazine and Montecristo amongst others. Her art can now be found in national and international collections.
